DEVELOPMENT OF WATER VAPOR AND OXYGEN ATTENUATION MODELS FOR SOUTH-WESTERN NIGERIA
JETI Admin
Abstract
In
order to obtain a reliable microwave link system, models that are
location-dependent are to be developed with meteorological data from the
location under consideration. Models and analytical data obtained based on data
from another location with different climatological pattern often prove
inadequate when adapted in another location. Therefore, in order to make
prediction of attenuation attributed to water vapor and oxygen in the
south-western part of Nigeria, development of mathematical model for water vapor
and oxygen attenuation using Meteorological data (pressure, temperature and
water vapor) for Lagos (
